Kinship Navigator Programs in Virginia provides information, referral, education and advocacy for kinship families in Virginia.

AARP is an interest group focusing on issues affecting those over the age of 50. They provide membership for discounts, a magazine and other services. Their website has free resources, including a Friends and Family section with articles on family relationships and other family needs.

Generations United’s mission is to improve the lives of children, youth and older people through intergenerational collaboration, public policies and programs for the enduring benefit of all. Their website shared COVID-19 resources and other state-wide resources available to grandparents and other kin caregivers as well as their advocacy efforts and other national projects they are working on.

The Virginia Navigator website is a nonprofit guide to disability, aging and veteran’s services in Virginia.

The Virginia Easy Access website connects older adults, adults with disabilities, veterans and families with information about a wide range of public programs and supports in a way that is accessible and easy to navigate. Virginia Easy Access connects to No Wrong Door Virginia.

DARS offers the Virginia Lifespan Respite Voucher Program (VLRVP) which provides reimbursement vouchers to Virginia caregivers for the cost of temporary, short-term respite care provided to individuals of any age, with a documented disability or medical condition.
